Film

The layout of the 'Us' script is laid out in the normal script layout with the font Asia.  The subheading (or slugline) shows that they are in the flashback the actors are inside a car driving at night, there are also there subheadings such as 'continue' to show that it scene still continues from  the previous scene and 'flashback' which signifies that they will be talking about the past. The action lines on the script are the main focus of this scene since the actors do not have much dialogue. The use of there being a short dialogue can  create more tension since they just witnessed a man bloody man go into an ambulance. . This helps communicate what the end result could be by the use of the action lines since most of this scene is about the flashback in the car.
This is helps appeal to the audience by show a little piece of horror and mystery. This is important because it can help engage the audience more instead of them just getting bored.. This has an impact on the story by creating mystery. This is designed to final product appeal to the audience by building up on mystery, this is done with the flashbacks since it tells another story.
I think this script is effective since it can bring a can lead the audience into mystery from when the flashback begins and end, and horror for when they see the bloody homeless man go into the ambulance.

Pulp Fiction begins off with a definition of pulp with a black background which may be seen as a key feature. There are subheadings that states Pulp Fiction starts off inside a coffee shop in the morning. The action lines are the first thing that you read and give great detail of what is happening in the scene from the time its set in to the way the actors should be presented, In the dialogue the characters are identified as 'young man' and 'young woman', their conversation seems to be planning something unlawful, this is shown when the young man said ' its too risky' which could show how he might be doing something that can effect his life. There are no specific instruction to a department but since the action lines go into good detail certain departments can get a vision on what needs to be made. Such as the actor who plays the young man should be able to a working class English accent.
This helps final product by there being mystery of what there planning to do or even if the guy will participate in the plan. This helps appeal to a certain audience by . I think this is an effective script because of how detailed the action lines are. This is important because it will help the production team get a vision on what needs to be made and will help the audience know what is going on.

Television

There are scene headings on the script 'Black Mirror', one saying there is one shot outside in the early morning and the other saying the scene is taking place in the two characters bedroom in the early morning. The action lines are giving details about the scenery and the characters, the action lines helps show the importance of  whole episode by using ' the door bursts open'. There are also parentheticals that show how the actor needs to say things such as '(half awake)'. The layout for this scene helps communicate the end of this scene by
This has an impact on the story by tension, this is done by Lauren saying the news of the princess going missing instead of saying good morning to her boyfriend Kieran. This can set up something for later in the episode such as a plot twist since everyone is so focused on the disappearance. This can be designed to help the final product by appeal to a particular audience since this episode contains a mystery of a kidnapping, which can appeal to an audience who like to watch crime shows.
I think this is an effective script since the story hopes right into the main point of the story line, this is important since it can engage the audience straight away and helps show the importance of the princess being missing.

The layout for the series ' The Walking Dead' goes into detail in the action lines. This is done by underlining the fact the little girl is dead, this is important since this little girl is the first zombie to be seen in the whole series so the audience would need to know how to identify the other zombies that are soon to come. The dialogue of the Rick brings fear and mystery to the show since he is trying to help a little girl who is not answering to him. Then there is a transition to the title credits which helps lead the audience a bit of suspense then cuts back into a shot of a police officer. This scene can help clarify and communicate the end results by when the little girl is shot this can shoe a sign that if she can get injured badly or the episode ending in a cliffhanger . This is scene is effective when  it comes to mystery and horror but when it come to communicating the end its hard to tell since this scene gets cut if by a transition to the title credits.
This scene has a specific instruction for the camera crew such as a 'tight detailed shot' of the police officer after the credits. But other departments such as custom and hair and makeup can take the action lines into consideration since it says 'lip torn away' which would be for the make up, '.357 colt python' which would be for the props team to get and ' a row of abandoned cards' which the set team would have to know. This sets up a gruesome and suspense for the story. This is because a little girl is hurt so if a little innocent girl is hurt then that can show there is a lot to come in the rest of the show.
The final product is helped to appeal to the audience since the show instantly begins with a bit of horror and a cliffhanger it can lead the audience to want to see me of the show. This cause to appeal to the audience since the audience members are probably horror fans the first thing they see is a little zombie girl who has meat in her braces which can get them invested. I think this is an effective script because how it instantly starts off with a horror scene and that it is also beneficial to the departments that are working on the show since it gives details on the shots taken, the features on the girls face and what the setting would be.
